HUNTING ZONE GRADINA - Beautiful nature, a great diversity of game, an existing hunting reserve and the hospitality of the region of the villages Gradina and Vinitza, in the Plovdiv region, are perfect premises for developing fishing and hunting tourism, as well as for ecotourism. The hunting zone which is 40km from the city of Plovdiv, makes it possible to have some cultural tours such as visits to the ancient city of Plovdiv, the ancient theatre, the Bachkovo Monastery and other architectural sites and monuments. There is an existing variety of flora, a great number of rivers and mountain streams. The Maritza River and flat lowlands create the perfect conditions for complete relaxation throughout the four seasons of the year. The specialized hunting complex which is on the banks of the Maritza River, is divided into three parts. The
area of the village of Gradina, "AZMAKA AULG" and in the countryside of "GOLEMIA IURT" in the area of the
village Vinitza. In the complex we have developed hunting equipment, modern breeders and other premises,
providing the complete cycle of pheasant's breed. The game's treasure of the region is represented by an
enormous population mainly of birds such as pheasants, rock partridge, turtle dove, quail, grey partridge and
other migratory birds. There is also a quantity of deer, roe deer, hares and wolves. All this provides
perfect conditions for hunters to observe, photo hunt and game hunt. The season for turtle dove and quail is
officially open from the 12th of August and for the other game as from the 1st of October 2006.
Hunting Residence GRADINA The building of the Gradina residence is one floor, with unusual multi angled form, with an internal yard in
the middle, with an age-old tree in it. It is a modernized residence, with six apartments, a big living area
including a fire place, dining room with a fire place and kitchen. Each apartment has a WC and TV and
heating.
